Ride the Ridge!
7 days, 469 miles, 26 tunnels, awesome vistas, ridiculous climbs and downhills that reward. The BRP offers an unbelievably diverse and interesting ride. The Blue Ridge Parkway is known as "America's Favorite Drive" and experiencing the Parkway on a bicycle is an experience without peer. This ride starts at BRP MM 0.0 near Waynesboro, VA and ends at MM 469 on the south end of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Breathtaking views abound whether from one of the hundreds of overlooks or from the fog line, the BRP is amazing. The week starts and ends with two physically significant days with three shorter days sandwiched in between. Time off the bike, whether on the many breaks or in the evenings makes this whole experience one not to be missed.
Five 2011 trips of just 20 riders each starting 6/5, 6/19, 7/17, 8/7, & 9/18.
Draft routes exist, but details are too coarse to announce. Code named Style, this midwest ride offers backwoods, rural and urban riding on comparatively flat roads. This ride is a loop ride so the logistics are very easy. More as details and permitting develops. This will be a large group ride capped at 100 riders.
Friday July 8th through Friday July 15th, 2011.
